Senior Analytics Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, USA; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $165,000–$185,000 per year in local currency, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise analytical modeling standards, including domain boundaries, shared entities, dimensional design, and semantic-layer architecture.
• Establish standards for model design, testing, documentation, lineage, observability, access, code review, and release management.
• Guide the transition from one-off marts and dashboard-specific logic to reusable, governed data products.
• Lead architecture reviews, system design, technical decisions, and mentorship across the Data & Analytics team.
• Define trusted measures and dimensions for Sigma, analytical workflows, and governed AI experiences.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance and Accounting, Clinical, Research, Growth and Marketing, and AI stakeholders on data governance and quality.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, data architecture, or a related discipline.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, dimensional modeling, data warehouse design, and reusable analytical data products.
• Experience designing semantic or metrics layers for multiple analytical consumers.
• Knowledge of testing, observability, lineage, metadata, access controls, privacy-aware architecture, and software development lifecycle practices.
• Ability to lead architecture through influence, document technical decisions, mentor experienced engineers, and connect technical choices to organizational risk, speed, cost, and business outcomes.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks, Fivetran, Sigma, and dbt MetricFlow or a comparable semantic-layer platform.
• Healthcare data experience in a regulated environment, including privacy, governance, and responsible data use.
• Experience with data contracts, domain-oriented data products, data governance operating models, or modernization of analytical environments.
