Associate, Nexus, Client Delivery

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid

Salary: CAD 60,000–88,000 yearly

What you will do

• Prepare fund accounting services, including NAVs, accruals, investment valuations, and cash and portfolio reconciliations.
• Calculate and allocate capital calls, distributions, management fees, waterfalls, investor allocations, and P&L.
• Prepare NAV packages and other deliverables required by service-level agreements.
• Support audited financial statements, audits, and applicable regulatory services.
• Handle ad hoc requests and projects while communicating with internal teams and external clients.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant qualification.
• At least 2 years of progressive accounting, audit, or fund administration experience; hedge fund, private credit, or private equity experience is advantageous.
• Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in NAV, management fee and waterfall calculations, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel, with willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Nice to have

• Experience with Geneva accounting software.
• Qualified accountant certification or another relevant professional qualification.
