Investment Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Toronto, Canada). Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: $82,000 – $105,000 (Total annual cash compensation)

What you will do

• Build and maintain expert knowledge of assigned Funds/ETFs and the relevant capital markets.
• Create content, communications, and messages aligned with business and sales objectives.
• Collaborate with investment staff, retail sales, marketing, and institutional teams.
• Conduct competitor research and maintain a deep understanding of competing funds.
• Develop thought leadership pieces and support sales teams with ad hoc product queries.
• Participate in client interactions regarding assigned strategies.

Requirements

• Current work authorization for Canada is required.
• 4-year university degree in a business-related subject or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years of investment market expertise.
• Excellent analytical, writing, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Completion of CFA designation or a master’s degree.
• Working knowledge of VBA and Python.
