Associate Partner, Consult Partner - Federal

Location: Washington, DC, USA; U.S. citizenship and primary residency on U.S. soil required. Based in or within commuting distance of the Washington, DC metropolitan area, with regional client travel as needed.

Salary: $185,760–$334,320 annually in the U.S.; Washington, DC range: $204,360–$367,800. Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus or sales commission plan.

What you will do

• Originate, qualify, shape, pursue, and convert complex technology consulting opportunities across the U.S. Federal market.
• Develop growth and pursuit strategies aligned with agency missions, funding, acquisition pathways, contract vehicles, and competitive positioning.
• Build trusted relationships with Federal executive, mission, technology, program, acquisition, and contracting stakeholders.
• Lead capture strategy, competitive assessments, teaming, solution shaping, pricing, proposal development, executive reviews, and negotiations.
• Orchestrate consulting, delivery, solutioning, finance, contracts, technology alliances, and partner organizations through transition to delivery.
• Drive thought leadership, external eminence, strategic initiatives, and profitable Federal pipeline growth.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship, primary U.S. residency, and ability to pass standard Federal background investigations.
• 10+ years of relevant Federal market experience in technology consulting, systems integration, managed services, or enterprise technology.
• Proven personal record of originating, shaping, and winning substantial Federal opportunities.
• Established relationships and credibility across multiple Federal Civilian agencies and market segments.
• Strong knowledge of the Federal acquisition lifecycle, appropriations, budget cycles, contract vehicles, FAR standards, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with capture, proposals, Statements of Work, multidisciplinary leadership, financial management, risk, hybrid cloud, digital transformation, and enterprise infrastructure modernization.

Nice to have

• Capture experience and executive relationships with agencies such as VA, HHS, DHS, IRS, USDA, SSA, FDA, or the Department of Commerce.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance or polygraph.
• Previous IBM or hirify.global operational experience.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
