What you will do

• Manage construction operations and elevator installation projects to meet schedules, profitability targets, and branch plans.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate construction field employees, including hiring and progressive discipline.
• Plan installations, manpower requirements, schedules, materials, and subcontracted work using project management and scheduling tools.
• Administer safety programs, conduct audits, and make weekly crew and day-one site visits to monitor safety, progress, and site activities.
• Review job status, accounting information, risks, change orders, purchase orders, turnover authorizations, receivables, credits, and write-offs.
• Maintain relationships with owners, contractors, consultants, architects, corporate departments, and labor representatives while resolving project and customer issues.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills, supported by a bachelor's degree, two years of branch departmental management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to write reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to management and customer questions.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and work with abstract and concrete variables.
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report required.
