Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent (Mission Critical)

Salary: $79,200–$132,000 per year; compensation may vary by city and state.

What you will do

• Support the project manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, installation methods, and sequencing.
• Coordinate field staff and subcontractors, communicate project priorities, and maintain strong working relationships.
• Maintain daily records of work orders, tickets, site conditions, and project activities.
• Administer quality and safety standards, including subcontractor compliance, incident reporting, investigations, and agency inspections.
• Organize the site team, arrange temporary facilities and utilities, and identify long-lead items for expediting.
• Manage punch-list and closeout activities through owner and architect acceptance while identifying and resolving problems early.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Ability to use project-specific software, including Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with changing technologies, designs, construction methods, and project requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast-paced projects.
• Project lead experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
