UX Designer (Fintech) – 12 Month FTC

Location: Bristol, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least two days per week or 40% of working time at an office site

Salary: £61,344–£68,160 per year

What you will do

• Design cohesive end-to-end user experiences and customer journeys.
• Create prototypes using tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure, and Adobe XD.
• Use quantitative and qualitative user research to inform interaction design decisions.
• Balance business requirements, customer needs, and technical constraints across different platforms.
• Present designs to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and communicate requirements to development teams.
• Advocate for inclusive and accessible experiences for customers of different ages, backgrounds, and technical abilities.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in UX or interaction design, potentially including a visual design background.
• Strong prototyping, layout, and interaction design skills.
• Experience taking ownership of interaction design work through delivery.
• Ability to work with and improve established design systems.
• Experience interpreting research and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and developers.
• Experience in financial services is desirable for working in a complex environment.
