Operations Manager (Fulfillment Center Operations)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; onsite fulfillment center role

What you will do

• Lead inbound and outbound activities across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping on two shifts.
• Direct warehouse supervisory personnel and Area Managers to achieve fulfillment, shipment, quality, and productivity objectives.
• Monitor operational KPIs including warehouse misses, on-time shipments, shipment defects, aged tasks, production levels, and cost per order line.
• Drive planning, forecasting, continuous improvement, and standard process development across shifts and the fulfillment network.
• Use the site Warehouse Management System to optimize order fulfillment and generate operational insights.
• Mentor, train, and develop Area Managers while promoting safety, adaptability, and customer-focused performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in fulfillment center or warehouse operations, including 4+ years in receiving, inventory control, or order fulfillment.
• 4+ years of experience managing large groups of hourly employees.
• Experience building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes.
• Strong project management, continuous improvement, communication, leadership, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Must be flexible to work weekends; position may require travel.

Nice to have

• E-commerce or retail experience.
• Lean Six Sigma or Green Belt certification or experience.
