Supervisor, Operations (Logistics)

Location: Edwardsville, Illinois, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday, second shift (afternoon/evening).

Salary: USD $58,656–$87,984 per year

What you will do

• Lead daily warehouse operations and allocate resources to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and financial KPIs.
• Supervise at least two full-time direct reports, including coaching, skills development, recognition, hiring recommendations, and performance management.
• Oversee production schedules, job assignments, operational reporting, time-off planning, and cross-team handoffs.
• Lead startup meetings, safety training, JHA reviews, facility walkthroughs, and 5S housekeeping standards.
• Maintain inventory integrity, support physical inventory counts, and assist the Operations Manager with special projects and facility security.
• Provide customer service and lead frontline operations in high-pressure situations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with no prior work experience; or military rank of E-6, E-7, O-1, or O-2; or at least six months of warehouse or supply chain experience with demonstrated leadership.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, methods, and procedures.
• Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with quality management methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work on the warehouse floor, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds.
