Full Stack Java Developer (Finance)

Location: Charlotte, NC; hybrid attendance is required and remote work is not an option. Onsite interviewing is required.

Pay: $75/hour on W2 only; no C2C

hirify.global is hiring for a full-stack Java development role supporting the finance industry.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support Java applications using Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, JDBC, JPA, XML, and JSON.
• Build responsive and scalable user interfaces with Angular 16+.
• Design and support microservices-based applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Implement and support DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, QA, product, and operations teams using Agile/Scrum practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on Java application development experience.
• 6+ years of experience developing responsive and scalable Angular interfaces, including Angular 16+.
• 3+ years of SQL Server development experience, including query optimization, stored procedures, and data modeling.
• Strong understanding of J2EE architecture, object-oriented design, design patterns, microservices, DevSecOps, and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in the required hybrid setting in Charlotte, NC and attend an onsite interview.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, GitHub Copilot Agent, Devin, or other AI-assisted development tools.
• Knowledge of Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar application monitoring platforms.
