Senior Fullstack Java Developer (Java/Angular)

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support secure, high-performing Java enterprise applications and services.
• Translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions with product owners, architects, business partners, and engineers.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of features and services, provide technical direction for moderately to highly complex work, and identify and mitigate risks.
• Drive clean code, secure coding, automated testing, and reliable CI/CD delivery.
• Use GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code for implementation, refactoring, testing, reviews, automation, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and explanations of end-to-end system flows.

Requirements

• On-site work in Southlake, Texas is required.
• 8+ years of software development experience delivering enterprise-grade Java applications and services.
• 8+ years of Java web and service development with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot, plus 8+ years of front-end development experience.
• 6+ years of microservices and REST API development, with working knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Kafka.
• 6+ years of front-end development with HTML, JSP, NPM/webpack, and Angular.
• Experience with CI/CD automation, Agile/Scrum delivery, technical leadership, secure coding, agentic workflows, spec-driven development, and prompt engineering.

Nice to have

• Cloud-native development and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• AI-assisted development tools and agentic development patterns.
• Performance engineering, observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting with AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or PCF Metrics.
• Test-Driven Development, Behavior-Driven Development, Cucumber, Selenium, or GCP certification.
