Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and operate production-grade enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design clean RESTful APIs and microservices, including service decomposition, inter-service communication, and observability.
• Develop frontend applications with React and integrate them with backend services.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas and queries.
• Deploy applications to AWS, Azure, or GCP using managed services, networking, and identity capabilities.
• Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document technical findings.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience; the position lists 8+ years of experience.
• Advanced Java 11 or 17, Spring Boot, RESTful API, microservices, data structures, algorithms, and system design experience.
• Production experience with React, SQL, relational databases, CI/CD, Git workflows, and at least one major cloud platform.
• New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored for this position.

Nice to have

• Kafka, RabbitMQ, or comparable event-streaming experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes production experience.
• Distributed systems knowledge, including eventual consistency, CAP trade-offs, idempotency, and saga patterns.
• Automation testing and test-driven or behavior-driven development experience.
• Angular or Vue familiarity.
