Manufacturing Data Analytics Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico. Administrative schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Travel is less than 10%, with occasional visits to manufacturing plants, training sessions, and digitalization projects.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical solutions.
• Collect, integrate, model, visualize, and analyze data from manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, and other business applications.
• Design and implement data visualization, automation, extraction, transformation, and integration solutions.
• Analyze operational data to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to gather requirements and present recommendations.
• Support automation and digital transformation projects while maintaining data quality, integrity, and consistency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English at B2–C1 level for global meetings, technical documentation, and presentations.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and Python, with knowledge of SQL, data modeling, relational databases, APIs, and data integration.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environments, operational metrics such as OEE, productivity, quality, traceability, and downtime, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience or knowledge with ERP data, SAP or other ERP platforms, Azure Data Services, data architecture, and process automation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems and MES is preferred.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer, AZ-900, or Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0, data architecture, automation, and manufacturing analytics.
• Experience with SAP, MES, Azure, or ETL platforms.
