Risk Analyst / Risk Manager – Remote

Location: Remote from Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, or Brazil; working hours aligned with U.S. client business hours, with flexibility for reporting cycles, audits, and incident response.

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking a risk management professional to strengthen organizational governance and support informed business decisions.

What you will do

• Conduct enterprise-wide assessments covering financial, operational, compliance, cyber, and strategic risks.
• Identify emerging risks, vulnerabilities, and control gaps; maintain risk registers and track remediation.
• Build quantitative risk models and perform stress testing, scenario analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis.
• Monitor regulatory and internal-policy compliance, support audits, and test and validate internal controls.
• Develop risk dashboards and reports, present findings to leadership and governance teams, and convert complex data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, compliance, legal, IT, and business teams to improve governance and risk awareness.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, governance, or financial analysis.
• Strong SQL, Excel, and data analysis skills.
• Experience with GRC platforms such as Archer, ServiceNow, LogicManager, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Availability to work U.S. client business hours while residing in Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, or Brazil.

Nice to have

• FRM, CFA, CPA, CCEP, CRISC, or related certification.
• Experience with VaR, stress testing, Monte Carlo simulations, operational risk, cyber risk, vendor risk, or enterprise governance programs.
• Background in financial services, fintech, healthcare, SaaS, or insurance.
• Experience with executive or board-level reporting and tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
