Data Associate - Power & Renewables

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid, with at least 2 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Research, create, and maintain datasets covering power plants, data centres, renewable projects, company financials, asset transactions, tenders, and policy developments.
• Evaluate and validate information from regulatory agencies, market operators, and developer disclosures.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple time zones and disciplines to deliver project work.
• Follow and improve data collection workflows and maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• Analytical skills across qualitative and quantitative research.
• Interest in data management and the renewable energy industry.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, communication, organization, listening, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and intellectual curiosity about market drivers and economic principles.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Comfort with Excel and query languages, with the ability to learn new tools and workflows quickly.
