Certification Testing Coordinator (Educator Certification)

Location: Full-time, in-person position on Tarleton's main campus in Stephenville, Texas. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or as work requirements indicate.

Salary: $44,000–$55,550.50 annually, commensurate with experience and subject to funding availability.

What you will do

• Track students through the educator certification testing sequence and maintain testing and accountability records.
• Prepare related state and federal accountability reports.
• Process approvals and registrations for TExES certification examinations.
• Explain testing and retesting procedures to certification candidates.
• Support certification testing, reporting, and operations for the Educator Certification and Academic Services office.
• Serve as a Campus Security Authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in an education-related field.
• Proficiency with office technology and administrative systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Access, and the ability to manage data.
• Effective communication, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in person on the Stephenville, Texas campus.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with teacher certification.
