Instructional Designer II (Educational Technology)

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually; proposed minimum salary of $4,916.67 monthly.

What you will do

• Design and develop online, blended, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses with faculty and subject matter experts.
• Lead course design and development projects from planning through implementation.
• Coordinate course materials and development resources with instructors, instructional design, IT, and multimedia teams.
• Recommend instructional strategies, educational technologies, and applications.
• Deliver faculty and staff training on instructional strategies and course design.
• Review course modules for quality and accessibility, recommend improvements, and support ADA-compliant digital content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Knowledge of online course design principles, learning management systems, instructional technologies, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to implement accessibility in digital content and present information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in curricular design or a related field.
• Experience working with students or faculty.
• Experience with learning management systems, especially Canvas.
