Professional Learning Specialist (EdTech)

Location: Based in Birmingham, Alabama; candidates must live within 30 miles of the posting city, currently reside in Alabama, or be willing to relocate to the area. This is not a remote position. Travel up to 80% within the designated territory and to company meetings is required.

Salary: $60,750–$99,750 per year

What you will do

• Deliver targeted professional development to teachers, coaches, and district and site leaders.
• Provide tailored, on-site classroom coaching, lesson planning and pacing support, and implementation guidance.
• Help districts select, adopt, and implement Ready and i-Ready Diagnostic and Instruction programs.
• Analyze assessment and instructional data with educators and leaders to improve classroom practice.
• Develop and revise annual professional development plans and schedules with district and site leaders.
• Manage implementation projects, monitor program integrity, and collaborate with sales and education stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience teaching, coaching teachers, or providing professional development.
• Experience teaching or coaching Mathematics or ELA and working with school and district leaders.
• Fluency with digital tools and online assessments, with confidence applying data in instructional discussions.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to professional development.
• Knowledge of Common Core State Standards for Mathematics or ELA in Grades K–8, or comparable state standards.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territory, including overnight travel by car, plane, or public transportation.
