Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

What you will do

• Supervise maintenance activities and ensure effective execution in an automated production environment.
• Plan and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, shutdown, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Manage equipment, spare parts, labour, materials, contractors, and maintenance priorities to minimize downtime.
• Lead maintenance employees, develop team skills, conduct performance evaluations, and approve timesheets and vacation requests.
• Track maintenance KPIs, present performance results to management, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure equipment reliability and compliance with quality, health and safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Industrial mechanics or electromechanics diploma, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and 3 years of team supervision experience.
• Experience in an automated production environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, automated systems, welding, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Experience with a CMMS, ideally Maximo, plus knowledge of failure analysis, maintenance KPIs, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices, including lockout/tagout, with strong leadership, organization, and prioritization skills.
