Graduate Consultant - Software Engineering - 2027 (AI)

Location: Melbourn, Royston, UK; on-site five days a week

What you will do

• Support multidisciplinary project teams in inventing new products and technologies.
• Contribute to technology and product development from invention and analysis through prototype design and transfer to manufacture.
• Work on applications including drug delivery devices, AI-enabled drug discovery, and 5G network technology.
• Engage directly with clients, present findings, and ensure project requirements are understood and met.
• Develop commercial understanding, lead projects and teams as experience grows, and represent hirify.global at UK and international conferences.

Requirements

• On track for at least a 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong accompanying A-Levels or equivalent IB qualifications.
• Intellectual curiosity, inventiveness, rigorous first-principles thinking, and an entrepreneurial approach.
• Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly, collaborate effectively, and build trusted relationships.
• Strategic and systems-minded approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and consider commercial aspects of technology development.
• Available to start in September 2027 and work on-site five days per week.
