AI Tech Consultant (GenAI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; willingness to travel to clients worldwide is required.

What you will do

• Work with client leadership teams to identify challenges and define Generative AI strategies.
• Design and build AI platforms and GenAI solutions using modern architecture and middleware approaches.
• Advise and coach client technology teams while managing project quality, risk, expectations, and escalations.
• Lead agile technology implementations, digital transformations, workshops, and client meetings.
• Support project proposals, client relationships, practice development, and new business opportunities.
• Depending on seniority, guide junior colleagues and contribute to team development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably focused on AI, machine learning, or data science.
• 3–10 years of experience in IT strategy and consulting, professional software development, or IT project management; previous technology consulting experience is required.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI and Machine Learning, including LLMs, RAG, guardrails, MLOps, and multimodality; RAG is required.
• Knowledge of GenAI platforms and middleware such as AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex, LangChain, or LlamaIndex, plus advanced prompt engineering, context windows, and memory.
• Experience with agile consulting, digital transformation, IT organization and process development, legacy environments, and modern technology approaches.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, strong analytical and conceptual abilities, business acumen, autonomy, and willingness to travel worldwide.
