QC In-Line Inspector (Quality Assurance)

Location: Onsite in Fremont, California, United States. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under ITAR/EAR requirements.

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Perform in-process and final visual inspections of raw, metallized, and patterned ceramic substrates.
• Use stereo zoom and high-power microscopes, micrometers, calipers, gauges, rulers, and other inspection tools.
• Read diagrams and specifications, measure products, and accept or reject finished products.
• Interpret inspection data, report inspection and test results, and discuss findings with responsible personnel.
• Follow quality standards and production goals while prioritizing job flows and managing time.
• Provide basic training and support to new QA team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of quality assurance inspection experience.
• Basic English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Technical knowledge of calipers, micrometers, gauges, microscopes, and related inspection equipment.
• Good computer skills and data-entry experience, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR requirements, including U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee status.

Nice to have

• MIC hybrid circuit inspection or MIC assembly experience.
• Experience reading procedures and work instructions.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and safety procedures.
• Experience with an ISO 9000-certified company.
