What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary aviation engineering projects from planning through completion, managing scope, budgets, schedules, risks, resources, deliverables, and quality.
• Plan and design airfield improvements, including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, lighting, signage, and NAVAIDs coordination.
• Oversee aviation plans, specifications, estimates, technical reports, and design calculations in accordance with FAA standards and advisory circulars.
• Direct airfield geometry, pavement, stormwater, utility coordination, construction phasing, and safety planning for operating airports.
• Coordinate with clients, airport sponsors, FAA representatives, agencies, subconsultants, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and obtain approvals.
• Support proposals and business development while mentoring engineers, designers, analysts, and other technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• At least 5 years of experience managing projects from conception through completion; 6 years preferred.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, teams, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, relationship-building, problem-solving, and communication skills.
