Network Administrator (Cisco/Fortinet)

Location: 9100 Boul Henri-Bourassa E, Montréal, Quebec, Canada; on-site role

What you will do

• Maintain the stability and availability of LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VPN, and firewall infrastructure.
• Review network designs before deployment and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
• Translate business and project requirements into scalable network, connectivity, infrastructure, and site-readiness solutions.
• Contribute to project planning through Bills of Materials, Statements of Work, and infrastructure requirements.
• Support network automation, DevOps initiatives, monitoring improvements, and operational excellence.
• Modernize the enterprise network while reducing technical debt and improving performance, resilience, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in enterprise network administration.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, VPN, SDN, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving simple and complex network issues, including network security and traffic-flow analysis.
• Experience with network automation using scripts and with observability, monitoring, and network management tools.
• Significant experience with Cisco and Fortinet solutions; large-scale network experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, along with autonomy, responsibility, teamwork, and a results-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• ITIL certification.
• Experience with large-scale network environments.
