Mechanical Engineering Senior Manager

Salary: $165,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop lead and senior mechanical engineers.
• Set mechanical engineering strategies, priorities, resource plans, and departmental budgets.
• Provide technical governance across mechanical design, analysis, validation, documentation, safety, quality, reliability, compliance, and manufacturability.
• Oversee mechanical deliverables from concept and development through production and sustaining engineering.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management on product launches, production readiness, research technology projects, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Standardize engineering processes and lead continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing environments and engineered products.
• Strong mechanical design, project and program management, communication, stakeholder management, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot AI.
