Mill Operator (1st Shift) (Ink Manufacturing)

Location: Western Dr, West Chicago, Illinois, USA; onsite, first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Salary: $21.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate milling equipment safely and effectively.
• Handle press-out units, pump filter equipment, and forklifts.
• Package and label ink products in various containers.
• Clean and maintain equipment according to TPM standards.
• Participate in active projects and TPM activities with the production team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or 1–3 months of related experience.
• Basic mathematics and computer skills with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and availability for the assigned first shift and required overtime.
• Ability to collaborate with R&D, production, scheduling, quality, and preventive maintenance teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug screening, physical examination, and background check required after an offer.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in the ink industry or mill and pump-filter operations.
• Two or more years of related manufacturing experience.
• Autonomous Maintenance experience and forklift experience.
