What you will do

• Perform routine final assemblies, sub-assemblies, inspections, in-process testing, and packaging using basic tools and assembly techniques.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and process sheets to determine setup procedures, equipment, materials, safety precautions, and cycle-time requirements.
• Rotate among workstations, support cross-training, and perform more complex tasks as assigned.
• Diagnose faulty operations, product imperfections, and equipment malfunctions in collaboration with technical and supervisory personnel.
• Maintain accurate counts of completed work and monitor schedule, quality, quantity, and shipment requirements.
• Package component parts and assemblies securely, ensuring all required parts and instructions are included.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of assembly or related functional experience is preferred.
• Mechanical dexterity, good eyesight, basic reading, writing, and math skills, and a high degree of accuracy in repetitive work.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and process sheets and work with basic chemicals and simple machinery.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work while standing, sitting, and performing repetitive assembly tasks.
• Ability to adapt to changing production methods, increased automation, workstation rotation, teamwork, and occasional overtime.
