Offset Printing Press Operator 1st Shift (Printing Manufacturing)

Location: Cudahy, WI, United States. Onsite, 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Salary: $26.00–$43.00 per hour. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure or multi-color offset presses.
• Print single-, two-, and multi-color work involving solids, screen tints, line work, and halftones.
• Review job specifications and determine press setup, settings, materials, and imposition requirements.
• Perform make-ready tasks, including installing plates or cylinders, preparing blankets, and adjusting tension and register.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet production quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on press equipment.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of press operation techniques, procedures, materials, equipment, and safety requirements.
• Ability to perform complex mechanical adjustments, routine maintenance, and minor equipment repairs.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine appropriate press usage, settings, and materials.
• Skill using a micrometer to mount and align printing plates correctly.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
