What you will do

• Teach assigned nursing courses in classroom, online, clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings.
• Develop and implement course curricula, teaching materials, and engaging learning experiences using evidence-based methods.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback and remediation, and support student learning success.
• Lead or support clinical, laboratory, and simulation learning while connecting theory to safe, ethical, and professional practice.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to students and new faculty while collaborating with faculty and clinical partners.
• Participate in committees, program evaluation, professional service, continuing development, and scholarship activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a field appropriate to the teaching profession.
• At least 2 years of professional experience related to the teaching discipline.
• Current, active, unencumbered licensure or certification required for professional practice in the discipline.
• Experience with learning management systems, simulation equipment, online platforms, and increasingly AI tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, conflict management, initiative, judgment, and emotional and social intelligence.
• Education, experience, regulatory credentials, and clinical compliance must meet applicable state requirements.

Nice to have

• PhD in a field appropriate to the teaching profession.
• Scholarship or professional development in discovery, integration, practice/application, or teaching and learning.
