Data Governance Manager/Strategist (Salesforce)

Location: New York City, United States

Salary: $100,000–$110,000 per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

What you will do

• Translate organizational priorities into data governance standards, policies, ownership models, and accountability frameworks.
• Align Salesforce and operational data strategies with enterprise objectives and company growth.
• Define and monitor KPIs for data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness through dashboards and reporting.
• Oversee master data management, picklist governance, naming conventions, taxonomies, cleansing, deduplication, and validation rules.
• Facilitate data governance council meetings and coordinate with Salesforce administrators, architects, developers, business leads, IT, and Legal.
• Support access controls, data classification, retention policies, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and SOX.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or strategic Salesforce architecture and administration.
• Deep familiarity with Salesforce CRM data structures, objects, relationships, and capabilities.
• Experience designing data processes, governance frameworks, policies, and data dictionary documentation.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data architecture, and CRM systems.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, project leadership, and change management skills.
• Ability to work in New York City, United States.

Nice to have

• Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or CRM/Salesforce management experience.
• Salesforce Admin, Advanced Admin, Data Architect, or Application Architect certification.
• Experience with enterprise data governance programs and relevant compliance frameworks.
