Director - Distribution Data Platform

Location: Hybrid in Springfield, Massachusetts or Boston, Massachusetts

Salary: $124,800–$163,800 annually

What you will do

• Define and evolve the Distribution Data Platform and Single Source of Truth vision, roadmap, operating model, and adoption strategy.
• Establish business data standards, common definitions, canonical requirements, and source-of-truth expectations across key data domains.
• Build and lead the business support organization, including responsibilities, service offerings, intake processes, support models, and performance measures.
• Partner with Technology, Architecture, Data Governance, MDM, Reporting, Analytics, and Operations teams to prioritize and implement business data requirements.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption activities across the organization.
• Provide business leadership for canonical data models, entity relationships, hierarchies, metadata, and critical data elements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data management, data governance, master data management, business data strategy, information management, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience defining business data standards, ownership models, business definitions, or data governance practices.
• 3+ years of experience building and leading teams, programs, or business support capabilities.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, canonical data structures, metadata, lineage, data quality, and source-of-truth principles.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology organizations, with excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SSOT, Customer 360, MDM, data standardization, or enterprise data transformation initiatives.
• Financial services, insurance, wealth management, or distribution experience.
• Experience with data governance, metadata, reporting, CRM, analytics, or MDM platforms.
• CDMP, DCAM, CBAP, DGSP, or similar certification.
