Building Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Marina, California, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Salary: $33.78–$45 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform hands-on building maintenance and repairs, including painting, rust removal, minor equipment repairs, parking lot upkeep, and signage repairs.
• Monitor daily operating logs for air-conditioning systems, fan units, utility meters, graph charts, and general complaints.
• Respond to tenant and client service requests, prioritize work orders, and minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections, alarm testing, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance records, inventory, schedules, and supplier relationships.
• Apply correct chemical treatment levels for cooling towers and boilers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in building or property maintenance or engineering.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, energy management systems, and building mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Flexibility to be on call for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
