Network Infrastructure Engineer (Cisco)

What you will do

• Administer and develop Cisco Nexus-based network infrastructure, including VLAN, LACP, vPC, routing, BGP, and VPN endpoints.
• Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewall policies, NAT, routing, Site-to-Site VPNs, and related troubleshooting.
• Build connectivity between data centers, providers, partners, and cloud environments using AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute or VPN.
• Organize data center cross-connects and coordinate with providers and remote hands.
• Troubleshoot production issues involving latency, packet loss, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and physical connectivity.
• Monitor, document, standardize, and automate network infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, STP, LACP, NAT, ACL, DNS, routing, and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment, preferably Cisco Nexus, enterprise firewalls, and IPsec Site-to-Site VPNs.
• Experience with data center networking, cross-connects, AWS or Azure networking, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD practices for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with network monitoring and logging tools such as SNMP, Syslog, Grafana, or Zabbix.
• English proficiency at B1 or higher for technical documentation and communication with international providers.

Nice to have

• AWS Direct Connect or Azure ExpressRoute experience.
• CCNA, CCNP, or Palo Alto certifications.
• Python or PowerShell experience.
• Experience in FinTech, trading, or other high-availability environments.
• Experience with VXLAN/EVPN and advanced Cisco Nexus networking.
