What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and manage network engineers and technicians, including objectives, performance reviews, development, and task allocation.
- Oversee the stability, scalability, and security of LAN/WAN, wireless, cloud, and hybrid network environments.
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support and coordinate incident response, monitoring, and network management operations.
- Plan and oversee network projects and business-as-usual activities, managing timelines, workloads, resources, and deliverables.
- Communicate network plans, incidents, risks, forecasts, capacity, and performance reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Support high- and low-level network design, cybersecurity initiatives, process improvements, and automation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in network architecture or management within enterprise environments.
- Experience delivering scalable, supportable, and highly available network solutions.
- Expertise in data centre networking, WAN technologies including MPLS, DMVPN, and SD-WAN, and LAN/Wi-Fi segmentation and optimization.
- Experience with hybrid cloud networking using AWS and Azure, network monitoring tools, and cybersecurity planning and secure network design.
- Strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system, plus the ability to lead teams and manage network projects.
