Operational Analyst - DOW

Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. On-site position; remote and telework are not available. No relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and directly related certifications.

What you will do

• Develop, refine, and maintain standardized operational processes and technical documentation.
• Extract and consolidate operational information from multiple data sources to establish performance benchmarks and key operational measures.
• Author, publish, and maintain structured performance reports using PowerBI.
• Analyze operational workflows and mission-critical information to support decision-making.
• Identify systemic trends and root causes of operational issues, then provide actionable efficiency recommendations.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to maintain mission alignment.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of general IT, operations, or analytical work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience extracting, consolidating, and analyzing operational information from multiple data sources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Active DoW Secret Security Clearance required.
• Day-shift availability.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and distributing performance reports with PowerBI.
• Proficiency writing SQL queries for relational databases.
• Experience or willingness to learn dashboard design and development in BMC Helix.
• ITIL certification, such as ITIL Foundations.
