Electronic Security Project Manager (ESS)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Frequent local travel to client sites and construction sites is required, with 70–90% of travel typically within a two-hour driving distance. Occasional air travel and up to 25% travel are required.

What you will do

• Lead delivery of large-scale electronic security projects across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Manage implementation and integration of CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security systems.
• Develop project schedules and baselines, monitor deviations, and communicate construction risks and schedule impacts.
• Coordinate site verification, design reviews, programming, testing, commissioning, documentation, and final system checkout.
• Control project budgets, costs, margins, and corrective actions while managing client expectations and stakeholder communication.
• Lead punch-list resolution, project turnover, client training, and closeout activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction trades or Electronic Security Systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering waterfall schedules to fixed dates, with knowledge of PMP methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in client-facing and enterprise-client environments, with strong technical and communication skills.
• Understanding of when to apply Agile methods within waterfall programs.
• Valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to travel and work regularly on construction sites.

Nice to have

• Experience managing large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program.
• Electronic Security Systems experience.
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) certification.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
