Project Manager (Defense)

Location: Hickory, NC, United States

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus a 10% bonus

What you will do

• Lead development and delivery projects for defense products and partner-system integrations.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, compliance, and contractual requirements from award through final delivery.
• Oversee milestones including PDR, CDR, FDR, FAT, and SAT.
• Coordinate engineering, production, sales, supply chain, customer experience, quality, and support activities.
• Track customer delivery milestones and participate in on-site test and evaluation visits.
• Build and improve project processes using modern project-management methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing hardware and software projects, preferably in security, defense, or critical infrastructure.
• Strong communication, leadership, documentation, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Fluent Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of modern technology trends, cybersecurity, and continuous improvement.
• Must be able to obtain an EU Secret security clearance; the position may require security clearance.
