Associate, Genesis, Client Trading Operations

Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada; hybrid working.

What you will do

• Prepare and validate trading documentation for capital commitments, subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and transfer trades.
• Compile and review AML/KYC due-diligence packages for underlying fund administrators.
• Process custody trade settlements, wire instructions, verification callbacks, and related reconciliations.
• Monitor trading deadlines and own the end-to-end workflow through execution, confirmation, and completion.
• Liaise with clients, fund administrators, investment managers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve operational queries.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify control gaps, and support system and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education or a university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in fund administration, client delivery, investor delivery, or AML/KYC processes.
• Understanding of fund order execution, settlements, fund structures, documentation, investor account opening, and AML/FATCA requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office Excel and Adobe PDF skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, multitasking, and deadline management.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in client trading.
• Working knowledge of SWIFT securities and payment messages.
• Experience processing wire transfers.
