Field Service Technician (Electromechanical)

Location: Onsite field service in Coppell, Texas, United States; second shift with travel to customer sites

Salary: $22.68–$35.65 per hour, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on hirify.global Datacard equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose, test, and resolve electromechanical equipment problems with a high degree of autonomy.
• Drive to customer locations to deliver service and maintenance.
• Use Oracle or an equivalent ERP platform to manage inventory, service reporting, call management, and customer support.
• Interact with customer operations staff and resolve most customer situations independently.
• Complete required training, support difficult repairs, and contribute to quality and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent verifiable training.
• At least 2 years of electromechanical technician experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with PCs, current operating systems, and relevant software applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, travel when required, and accept temporary off-site assignments.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds; overtime is required as needed.

Nice to have

• Additional electromechanical technician or field service experience.
• Experience with hirify.global central issuance products.
• Advanced technical education.
• Knowledge of digital electronics, electro-mechanics, and software used to maintain hirify.global and third-party products.
• Experience with tools and electronic test equipment.
