Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer (GitHub)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine. Remote work is supported through a work-from-anywhere culture.

What you will do

• Participate in discovery, migration design, automation, pilot migrations, migration waves, cutover, validation, rollback, and stabilization.
• Plan and execute GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Organization migrations involving more than 2,000 repositories.
• Migrate repositories, workflows, runners, permissions, environments, variables, secrets, GitHub Apps, webhooks, OAuth integrations, and OIDC configurations.
• Build migration automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes/EKS, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related platform integrations.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure platform stability and successful validation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering with recent GitHub and CI/CD experience.
• Strong hands-on experience administering GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Organizations, including repository migrations, permissions, environments, variables, secrets, runners, and workflows.
• Advanced experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD architecture, GitHub Apps, webhooks, OAuth, and OIDC.
• Strong experience with Terraform, AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes/EKS, and Jenkins.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience with discovery, migration design, pilot migrations, cutover, validation, rollback, and stabilization.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating hundreds or thousands of repositories.
• Experience with GitOps, FluxCD, AWS CodeBuild, Git submodules, complex repository dependencies, SSO/identity migration, or migration tooling.
