Senior Software Engineer, Developer Platform Engineering

Location: Warsaw, Poland; 70/30 work model with 70% in-office collaboration.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve secure developer platform capabilities using Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, GitHub Actions, Pulumi, Docker, AWS, and APIs.
• Build governed cloud development workspaces with secure workspace patterns, identity controls, secrets management, approved images, and controlled network access.
• Create reusable templates, documentation, reference implementations, and paved-road engineering standards.
• Partner with software engineering and application teams to standardize development environments, streamline onboarding, and improve developer experience.
• Operate platform services through monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, incident response, lifecycle management, and reliability improvements.
• Integrate approved generative AI tools into secure development environments and standardized engineering workflows.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, developer tooling, infrastructure automation, or a related field.
• Strong programming experience with Python or TypeScript/JavaScript and significant experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and modern software delivery.
• Significant experience with AWS or another cloud provider, Docker, containerized applications, or standardized development environments.
• Strong understanding of secure software development, software supply chain controls, dependency and artifact management, secrets handling, and policy enforcement.
• Experience designing reliable systems that balance security, standardization, usability, and developer productivity.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, troubleshoot across application code and infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pulumi, CDK, Terraform, Coder, GitHub Codespaces, Dev Containers, or other cloud development environments.
• Experience building internal developer platforms, scaffolding systems, CLIs, reusable GitHub Actions workflows, templates, or onboarding tooling.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container security, image lifecycle management, secrets management, network isolation, or endpoint controls.
• Experience with artifact repositories, application security platforms, vulnerability management, or secure CI/CD guardrails.
• Experience enabling AI-assisted development through governed tools and safe automation workflows.
