Principal DevOps / Platform Engineer (Azure / GCP)

Location: Hybrid in Minsk, Belarus

Salary: $3,500–$5,000 gross per month

What you will do

• Design and evolve cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP.
• Architect and support production AKS clusters, Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Azure Cache for Redis, and BigQuery.
• Develop and maintain modular Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code with environment isolation and safe infrastructure changes.
• Design secure network architecture using VNets, Private Endpoints, VPNs, segmentation, and zero-trust principles.
• Build and improve Azure Pipelines CI/CD processes and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
• Establish security, incident response, RCA, postmortem, SLO, SLA, and error-budget practices for production systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Experience designing production infrastructure for high-load systems.
• Strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience with Azure services including AKS, VNet, Private Endpoints, Key Vault, RBAC, Managed Identities, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, and Azure Cache for Redis.
• Practical GCP experience, particularly BigQuery, plus experience with VPNs, secure connectivity, network security, IAM, secrets management, and monitoring.
• Automation skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell and experience preparing infrastructure for audits and regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare.
• Experience with Service Bus or other messaging systems.
• Background in high-load or fintech environments.
