Senior Security Engineer

What you will do

• Own the security posture of cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes, including identity and access, network segmentation, secrets management, encryption, workload hardening, logging, alerting, and detection.
• Build secure-by-default guardrails and embed security into product development through threat modelling and secure design reviews.
• Manage code, dependency, and container scanning, coordinate external penetration tests, and drive remediation.
• Implement technical controls for ISO/IEC 27001, NIS2, and NIST CSF, automate evidence collection, and translate requirements into engineering work.
• Strengthen corporate IT security across identity providers, endpoint management, SaaS integrations, and office networks.
• Lead technical incident response, maintain runbooks, investigate and contain incidents, and share security knowledge across the company.

Requirements

• Hands-on security engineering experience in a modern, cloud-native software company.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS, plus Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to read and write code and automate security controls.
• Practical knowledge of identity federation, secrets management, logging, vulnerability management, backup, and recovery.
• Experience translating ISO 27001, NIS2, or SOC 2 frameworks into technical controls and audit evidence, including threat modelling with product teams.
• Motivation to adopt AI-enabled tools and new ways of working.
