Senior Security Engineer (Network Security)

What you will do

• Lead the development, optimization, and integration of network security policies, rules, and monitoring across NDR, SSE, SD-WAN, and proxy platforms.
• Design and improve network security solutions for branches, stores, data centers, on-premises environments, and cloud platforms.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, threat modeling, and network hardening initiatives.
• Modernize network security by transitioning legacy systems to SSE and ZTNA solutions.
• Monitor and improve the performance, availability, reliability, and compliance of network security services.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and provide advanced Level 3 support for network security devices and services.

Requirements

• 6+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience focused on network environments.
• Practical knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SWG, SASE, VPN, CASB, ZTNA, and cloud security.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, Cisco, HP Aruba, Zscaler, and Citrix NetScaler network security solutions.
• Knowledge of security architecture, ISO 27001, NIST, C2M2, risk assessment, and security governance.
• Strong understanding of IP networking and protocols, including IPsec, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, and QoS.
• Understanding of GDPR, PCI-DSS, Schrems, and other regulatory requirements, with the ability to solve complex security challenges independently.

Nice to have

• CCNP Security, CCIE, CISSP, OSCP, Azure Security Engineer, or GCP Security Engineer certification.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira or Confluence.
