Senior Information Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid role in the Amsterdam Area, Netherlands; candidates must be living and working in the Amsterdam Area.

Salary: €5,700–€7,000 gross per month, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Own the information security management system and maintain ISO 27001 certification and the ISAE 3402 audit.
• Develop security policies and standards, conduct risk assessments, and verify control effectiveness.
• Shape security architecture and access management while embedding security into software development.
• Plan audits, coordinate evidence collection, work with auditors, and track findings through closure.
• Manage cloud, network, firewall, system-log, and vulnerability-management activities.
• Investigate incidents and data breaches, assess vendors, support security awareness, and communicate technical risks to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Recognized security credential such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISSP, or CISM, or willingness to obtain one.
• Broad experience across technical security, cloud, networks, systems, governance, risk, audits, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, cloud environments, and system or audit logs.
• Ability to explain technical risks clearly to non-technical colleagues and leadership.
• Experience working in a SaaS environment.

• Fluency in Dutch.
