Senior Compensation Analyst (North America)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: USD 90,000–120,000 annually

What you will do

• Analyze and administer compensation programs supporting hirify.global North America across Canada and the United States.
• Lead annual merit cycles, including market research, system preparation, data audits, training materials, and manager training.
• Support short-term incentive payouts, monthly accruals, variable compensation calculations, reporting, and payroll coordination.
• Harmonize job descriptions across business lines and perform job evaluations when required.
• Develop compensation models, dashboards, and reports using advanced Excel skills and analyze large datasets.
• Provide compensation reviews, offer recommendations, off-cycle adjustment analyses, and guidance to HR leaders and professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of hands-on compensation experience supporting Canadian and US programs in a large corporate environment.
• Expert-level Excel proficiency, including advanced functions, lookups, pivot tables, and data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of compensation legislation, pay equity, pay transparency, and regulatory requirements in Canada and the United States.
• Experience with compensation data interpretation, cost modeling, job evaluation, market pricing, and complex non-routine analyses.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with employees, managers, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
