Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States

Salary: $34.39–$48.14 per hour for Washington applicants; $31.53–$44.13 per hour for Colorado applicants.

What you will do

  • Translate engineering designs and sketches into detailed 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using Creo and Windchill.
  • Create and maintain detail part, assembly, and installation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
  • Develop interface control documents, bills of materials, and model-based design releases.
  • Support engineering changes, configuration control, version management, and PLM documentation.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies and fabrication issues.
  • Support first-article inspection and production by clarifying drawing intent and dimensional requirements.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience creating detailed drawings and models for spacecraft or launch vehicle structures.
  • Experience creating drawings for cryogenic propulsion or fluids systems and for metallic or composite structures.
  • Proficiency with Creo or Pro/ENGINEER and Windchill 10.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5, including fastener callouts, weld symbols, and standard hardware representation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering intent from sketches, models, and verbal direction.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

  • Experience with configuration management, PLM systems, first-article inspection, and production floor troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with machining, forming, layup/cure, material call-outs, and material compatibility.
  • Experience in a regulated aerospace environment such as AS9100.
