Plant Operator (2nd Shift) (Industrial Gases)

Location: Charlotte, NC - Old Dowd Rd (Plant), United States. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Compensation may include a monthly plant incentive of up to $4 more per hour.

What you will do

• Operate and care for compressors, pumps, filling stations, forklifts, and other plant equipment.
• Fill and transport industrial gas cylinders while performing quality checks.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and support maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records for equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in team meetings and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and organized working practices.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work the stated shift and occasional additional hours.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in plant operations or industrial maintenance.
• Technical certification in industrial operations.
• Industrial gas experience.
