Hospital AR Specialist - EHS Patient Accounts - Full Time

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate hospital facility claims using UB-04 forms and electronic or paper billing methods.
• Verify revenue codes, modifiers, service lines, and other claim details for accuracy.
• Follow up on outstanding facility balances and secure reimbursement under payer-specific rules and government regulations.
• Research, analyze, and resolve technical, clinical, and administrative claim denials and payment variances.
• Collaborate with coding, revenue integrity, patient access, and clinical departments to resolve charge capture, documentation, and registration issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of billing experience required.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and government-assisted payer claims.
• Ability to work with DRG, APC, and OPPS billing methodologies.
