Adult Education Navigator

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Salary: USD 24.52–25.32 per hour

What you will do

• Guide W-2 participants in identifying and enrolling in HSD/GED/HSED, ESL, and vocational training programs.
• Review transcripts and educational histories to assess eligibility and placement.
• Develop individualized education plans aligned with employment and self-sufficiency goals.
• Connect participants with community education providers and support services.
• Monitor progress, provide ongoing support, and document educational activities and outcomes.
• Collaborate with FEPs and other staff to integrate education goals into individual employment plans.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in education, human services, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in adult education, workforce development, or case management.
• Knowledge of GED/HSED, ESL, and vocational training programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable laws and program regulations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience working with W-2 participants or similar populations.
• Familiarity with local education providers and funding sources.
• Bilingual Spanish or Hmong skills.
